Simon has spent his entire career immersed in the worlds of Marketing, VIP Relations, and high-end client engagement. He began his journey in the Luxury Travel sector, gaining a strong grounding in consumer behaviour, premium customer experience, and brand storytelling. It was here that he first recognised the rising power of social media, leading some of the earliest successful Facebook campaigns and sharpening the digital instincts he’s known for today.

From luxury travel, Simon moved into the gambling and gaming sector, taking on senior VIP Marketing roles with Grosvenor Casinos before becoming Head of VIP at Betfred. These positions centred around building high-value relationships—an area where Simon excels and one of the core strengths he now brings to CEM Media. His experience managing top-tier clients, nurturing loyalty, and understanding premium audiences forms a key part of the agency’s identity and continued growth.

Racing has always been part of Simon’s world—growing up with cousins who were jockeys, the sport was a natural passion. Today, he channels both his industry expertise and lifelong love of racing into helping shape CEM Media into an industry-leading brand within the sport. He continues to play a pivotal role in expanding the business not only across Horse Racing but also into wider entertainment and talent-led campaigns.

Away from the track (and his inbox), Simon is a long-suffering yet loyal Southampton FC supporter—for his sins.

Anthony spent 14 years in the luxury property market in Central London, where he built a reputation for exceptional client service, strategic negotiation, and high-impact marketing. Alongside his professional career, Anthony has always maintained a deep passion for media, sport, and storytelling—interests that ultimately helped forge the creation of CEM Media.

A long-time follower of horse racing, Anthony has combined his industry knowledge with his love for the sport to shape CEM Media into one of the most dynamic and ambitious 21qz\digital agencies in the horse racing sector and wider sports landscape.

At CEM Media, Anthony oversees talent, sponsorship and operations, ensuring the business is positioned for sustainable growth while consistently delivering excellence for clients, partners, and creators. His focus is on building a best-in-class team, forging meaningful commercial partnerships, and cementing CEM Media as a leading player in the social media space.

Driven, creative, and commercially minded, Anthony continues to push the business forward with a clear vision: to elevate talent, transform engagement across sport and entertainment, and establish CEM Media as a standout force in modern media.

I’ve worked in marketing for 10 years now and worked in various different industries, implementing various strategies to grow a brands presence. My passion for horse racing started at a young age when I remember running home from school to watch Kauto Star in the Gold Cup and from there I’ve loved the sport ever since.

Jim’s been around marketing since the 1980s with high profile roles across the marketing mix including strategy, creative solutions, brand, content management, DM and advertising.

A strong copy writer, he’s experience working on the client and agency side and has held posts with a number of blue chip companies including Prudential, Lloyds TSB, Skandia, British Airways and Marks and Spencer.
Luca Brooks-Edwards, Digital Account Manager, has always had a great passion for horse racing and gained vital experience on the Racing Media Academy. Passionate about sport and its future, Luca is keen to use his platform as a young professional to highlight opportunities for the next generation to get involved in the industry.
